Langley is a mostly residential area situated about 3 miles from Oldbury Town Centre itself. Historically, Langley has always seen itself as a unique and individual community with its own identity - against being simply part of the town of Oldbury itself. This notion of small individual communities has a long tradition within the Black Country and one we are rightly proud of.

Local facilities are mostly grouped around the High Street with a number of shops, a park and school, plus a number of churches and public houses for good measure. Unusually for such a small local area we even have our own small theatre! These days we would most likely be described as being an Urban Village!

Within our community New Henry Street Tenants & Residents Association covers New Henry Street itself along with All Angels Walk, Old Chapel Walk and Edward Street.
